Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including ductwork, construction, and assembly, utilizing advanced welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding. The Welder will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our fabricated components, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to determine welding specifications • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precision in fabrication • Operate plasma cutting equipment and press brake machines for shaping metal components • Rigging and handling heavy materials using cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently • Conduct machining tasks as needed for component finishing or assembly • Assist with assembly of welded parts into larger structures or systems • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices • Perform routine inspections of welds for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards Skills • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding codes and safety standards • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, ductwork, and assembly processes • Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately • Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math skills for measurements • Knowledge of schematics related to ductwork or structural fabrication is a plus • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision • Ability to operate calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment efficiently This position offers an engaging environment for experienced welders eager to contribute their skills to high-quality manufacturing projects.
