HVAC Service Technician - Entry Level

We are one of Arizona’s most trusted mechanical contractors, specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC, piping, plumbing, service maintenance, and facility projects. Our Service Department operates in a fast-paced environment where safety, accountability, and customer service come first. We are looking for a technician who can work independently, communicate professionally, and take pride in delivering quality service. What You’ll Do • Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair applied and unitary HVAC systems • Perform preventive maintenance and required after-hours shutdowns • Respond to emergency maintenance and service requests • Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer instructions • Complete start-ups in accordance with manufacturer requirements • Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly • Maintain a clean and safe work area on every job • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers • Use mobile work order systems, including ServiceTrade • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation • Travel throughout Arizona as needed What We’re Looking For • Universal EPA Certification required • HVAC technical training preferred; additional education is a plus • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements with an acceptable driving record and background history for the previous 5 years • Ability to work independently and safely • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Willingness to work flexible hours based on customer needs • Ability to respond to emergency service requests • Experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC equipment and systems Preferred Experience • Line sets and brazing techniques • Reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics • Chiller service experience; factory training or certifications a plus • Critical cooling systems experience; factory training or certifications a plus • Boiler service experience • Hydronic pump systems, applications, troubleshooting, and start-up Why Join IMCOR • Branded company truck • Refrigeration tools provided • Competitive pay • Weekly pay • Holiday pay • Company uniforms • Rotating call schedule • Phone allowance • Health benefits • Factory training, education, and in-house technical support • Strong management support and team-focused culture • No pressure to upsell services Additional Requirements • Must pass a drug screen with a negative result IMCOR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
