Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and industrial electrical systems. The Commercial Electrician will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful completion of renovation, construction, and maintenance projects. Candidate must have extensive experience with Commercial Retail Installations. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and repair electrical systems. • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings. • Work with low voltage systems, and power tools to complete projects efficiently. • Perform renovation and construction tasks related to electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair processes. • Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then implement appropriate solutions. • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project. • Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes to prevent accidents or hazards on site. Skills • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for complex electrical systems. • Experience as an industrial electrician or in commercial electrical installations. • Strong knowledge of low voltage systems • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to electrical work. • Background in construction or renovation projects involving electrical components. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using schematics and technical manuals. • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site. • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and code compliance.
