You bring:
Minimum 4 years of welding experience in industrial or commercial settings
Certifications in ASME Section IX
Strong skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Ability to read blueprints, specs, and welding diagrams
Knowledge of welding inspection methods and quality standards
Solid understanding of safety practices and OSHA requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
What You’ll Do
Perform welding on industrial mechanical projects including fabrication, installation, and repair
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
Prepare materials and ensure proper fit-up before welding
Execute welds using appropriate techniques based on project requirements
Maintain high quality standards and ensure weld integrity
Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
Inspect and maintain welding equipment
Document work completed, materials used, and inspections
Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to keep projects moving
