Experienced Welder - Young-Davidson Mine

Location: Qu'Appelle Alamos Gold is looking for an Experienced Welder for the Young-Davidson mine. Your skills in maintenance and welding will directly contribute to the mine's operational readiness and safety. In this role, you will report to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and focus on the maintenance, repair, and service of heavy mobile equipment. Your expertise in welding and repairs will support our commitment to safety and operational excellence. Be part of a team dedicated to enhancing production efficiency at one of Canada's largest underground gold mines. Key Responsibilities: • Weld, cut, and grind using various welding tools • Inspect and repair equipment for optimal performance • Keep work areas safe and conduct regular safety audits • Record detailed maintenance reports for accountability • Mentor apprentices in welding and equipment operations Requirements: • Valid Interprovincial Red Seal certification • At least 3 years of welding experience in mining • Capability with overhead cranes and rigging procedures • Strong communication and analytical skills • Ability to work 10-hour shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule Bring your welding proficiency to elevate our operational success at Alamos Gold in Matachewan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
