Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive Commercial electrical expertise, including commercial retail projects, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a vital role in supporting ongoing projects and operational needs, utilizing advanced electrical knowledge and tools to deliver high-quality results. Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in commercial settings. • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work. • Work on low voltage systems as well as high voltage power supplies in accordance with safety standards. • Conduct renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications within existing structures. • Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies. • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, contractors, and maintenance teams for project completion. • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference. Experience • Proven experience as a commercial electrician or journeyperson electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments. • Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams is essential. • Familiarity with low voltage systems, Fire Alarm systems, and automation controls preferred. • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. • Previous handyman experience or general construction background is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an opportunity for experienced electricians to apply their skills in diverse projects while contributing to safe and efficient operations across our facilities. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.50-$41.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
