Company Website: 4wayelectrical.com About the Position: We are looking for a candidate who is well rounded in ALL aspects of the electrical industry. You will be a key team member performing service, repairs, and installations of electrical components in a fast-paced commercial environment. Responsibilities: · Travel to client sites to complete required electrical work. · Read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications and coordinate the team to complete appropriate tasks. · Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. · Install, examine, replace, and repair a wide range of electrical components, including but not limited to, electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, generators, and alternators. · May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices. · Drive project progress to meet deadlines, performance targets, and quality goals. · Facilitate on-site training and task completion, sharing your knowledge and skills with colleagues. · Promptly report any on-site issues or potential concerns to the appropriate parties on-site. · Conduct equipment monitoring for maintenance, safety, and operational concerns, taking appropriate actions when necessary. · Clean up the work site at the end of each workday; ensure the proper disposal of all refuse. · Assist with the loading and unloading of all work materials. · Ensure to wear all required personal protective equipment. · Work in cooperation with other trades and labourers to ensure all specifications, legislation, and policies are met. · Has working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and follows safe work practices. · Keep up to date on changing technology and techniques that are relevant to the trade. Qualifications: · Journeyman Electrician Certificate required · 5 years of Journeyman electrical experience required · Excellent communication skills oral and written · High attention to detail, ensure work is completed in an efficient and safe manner · Clean, professional demeanor, an individual that take pride in workmanship (Perform tasks correctly) · Follow and comply with all safety protocols and procedures · Provide their own tools, and PPE · Valid Drivers Licence with clean abstract · Be able to pass Drug & Alcohol pre-employment testing, Fit-to-Work test & Criminal Record Check · Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certification and WHMIS Certification required · Current certifications such as First Aid, Arial Platform, Fall Arrest are considered an asset Other: · Must be able to commute to our location (7704-71 Street, Edmonton, Alberta) & various client sites to complete work · Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM · Regular OT available for after-hours and weekend work are also possibility in this position · Competitive hourly wages plus annual bonus · Benefits after 3 months 4-Way Electrical Services. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
