Position Summary The Foreman Electrician is a working leader responsible for managing crews, directing daily jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code. This role requires strong electrical knowledge, leadership skills, and accountability. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and lead electrical crews on industrial jobsites • Plan and assign daily tasks, manpower, and material usage • Ensure all work meets NEC requirements, company standards, and customer expectations • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation • Perform hands‑on electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repairs • Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance • Communicate proactively with project managers and customers • Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and electricians • Take ownership of jobsite performance, schedules, and quality Required Qualifications • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience • 5+ years of industrial electrical experience • Prior experience as a foreman or lead electrician • Strong understanding of NEC and industrial electrical systems • Proven leadership and problem‑solving abilities • Ability to communicate clearly with crew members and management • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience • Industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or process environments • Motor controls, VFDs, control panels, and industrial troubleshooting • New construction, shutdowns, system upgrades, and relocations • Coordinating electrical work alongside other trades What A & W Electric Offers • Competitive pay based on experience • Full Benefits Package • Health, Dental, and Vision • Simple IRA with Company Matching • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays • Uniforms • Company Truck • Steady industrial work with long‑term opportunity • A strong, values‑driven culture • Supportive leadership that trusts and empowers field leaders • Opportunities for growth and career advancement Come Join Our TEAM!
