LOOKING FOR MIG WELDER PAYING $27/HR!!! Job Title: Welder Job Description This role focuses on MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials in a job shop environment. The welder will produce high-quality welds, perform visual and dimensional inspections, and contribute to the fabrication of various components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities • Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials in accordance with job specifications and quality standards. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand weld symbols, dimensions, and fabrication requirements. • Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment to achieve proper weld parameters for different materials and thicknesses. • Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify quality, identify defects, and ensure conformance to standards. • Perform dimensional inspections of screens and fabricated parts to confirm accuracy against drawings and tolerances. • Fabricate and assemble components using welding and related metalworking techniques as required for each job. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are used safely and effectively. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating welding equipment and handling materials. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and resolve fabrication or fit-up issues as they arise. Essential Skills • At least 3 years of MIG welding experience. • Proficiency in MIG welding on steel materials. • Hands-on experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately. • Strong welding and fabrication skills with attention to detail. • Capability to perform visual inspection of welds to assess quality and identify defects. • Ability to perform dimensional inspection of screens and fabricated parts. • Experience working as a MIG welder in a fabrication or job shop setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
