Field Service Technician - HVAC

This position involves traveling to customer sites to perform installation, maintenance, repair, and diagnostic services on a wide range of HVAC systems. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, providing exceptional service to our valued clients. Key responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, diagnosing complex technical issues, and completing repairs accurately and efficiently. You will maintain detailed service records, document all work performed, and communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems at customer locations. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC equipment issues. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance services. Ensure all work is performed to company standards and safety regulations. Communicate technical findings and repair recommendations to customers. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Respond promptly and professionally to service requests. Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices. Operate diagnostic equipment and tools effectively. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational HVAC program or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC field service technician. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, principles, and best practices. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment. EPA 608 Universal Certification required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to work in various environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
