Job Overview Prairie West Fabricating is looking to hire experienced fabricators for immediately hire. Prairie West Fabricating is a Saskatoon based steel fabricator and welding business with extensive experience in the mining, trucking, oil & gas, agricultural, construction, recreational and commercial markets. Responsibilities • Fabricate components according to specifications and schematics, ensuring high-quality workmanship. • Perform welding tasks according to the job • Operate machinery such as plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and cranes for material handling. • Conduct inspections of finished products • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or industrial setting. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
