The role of a Plumber involves the installation, repair, and upkeep of plumbing systems within both residential and commercial properties. Duties: - Must have experience in running a schedule that includes diagnosing, selling, and repairing/installing on their own. - Ready to train and lead a team of willing apprentices. - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances - Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems - Follow building codes and regulations when performing plumbing work - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering any questions they may have - Troubleshoot plumbing issues and develop effective solutions - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Skills: - Strong carpentry skills for cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes - Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary - Knowledge of HVAC systems and their interaction with plumbing systems - Mechanical knowledge for understanding the operation of plumbing equipment - Welding skills for joining pipes and fittings as needed - Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems - Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in plumbing work - Experience with pipe threading techniques If you are a skilled Plumber looking for a challenging role with opportunities for growth, we would love to hear from you.
