Aurora Electric Inc. is a fast growing electrical contractor based out of British Columbia. We are heavily involved in environmentally friendly residential construction as well as commercial industrial, and institutional.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, and control daily operations including completion of work scope, ensuring the use of company OHS policies and procedures, and on-site inventory management
• Require to attend project pre construction meetings and have full working knowledge of project construction schedules, IFC & I.D drawings and review submittal packages
• Responsible for working with Project Managers, Field Operations Manager and Forepersons to create project specific work packages including approved submittals and wiring layouts
• Support the maintenance of the project schedule by:
• Coordinating required labor with the Project Manager, Site Foreperson & the HR Coordinator.
• Ensuring advanced ordering of required material
• Projecting and requesting release of lot material, with the Project Manager
• Reviewing / enter time sheets
Requirements:
• Basic hand tools
• Valid drivers license
• Red Seal electrical ticket
• B FSR (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of CEC
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• 5 years of experience leading successful electrical multi-family-residential and commercial construction projects
• Intermediate demonstrable skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Blue Beam.
• Strong creative problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Experience in all other electrical fields are an asset

• Multi family / Multi buildings
• Leading teams up to 15-20 workers throughout the rough in and finishing process
• Reading blueprints and specifications
• Communicating clearly and directly with other employees as well as other contractors

• Organization of site material and workers
• Planning and coordination of B Materials
• Schedule planning and coordination
• Understanding the RFI and change order process
