Lead Electrician – Windsor, Ontario

Location: Windsor, Ontario\r\nCompany: Axis Solar Inc\r\nType: Full-Time\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout the Role:\r\nAxis Solar Inc. is seeking a certified and experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team in Windsor, Ontario. This role involves leading electrical installations, diagnostics, and maintenance across a range of commercial solar projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction and maintenance electrical systems, a 309A license, and the leadership ability to mentor junior technicians while ensuring project success and electrical safety compliance.\r\n\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPlan, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems related to solar installations\r\n\tInterpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications for layout and installation of systems\r\n\tMeasure, cut, thread, and install conduits, raceways, and enclosures for wiring systems\r\n\tSplice, terminate, and connect electrical conductors and devices\r\n\tLead troubleshooting efforts and fault diagnosis of electrical systems and solar arrays\r\n\tTest electrical and electronic equipment for proper operation and code compliance\r\n\tSupervise and support junior electricians and apprentices on site\r\n\tEnsure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety standards\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tValid 309A Electrician – Construction and Maintenance license\r\n\tListed on the Skilled Trades Ontario Public Register\r\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in commercial or solar electrical installations\r\n\tStrong knowledge of electrical systems including renewable energy and energy storage\r\n\tAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics\r\n\tProven leadership and mentorship experience\r\n\tValid G-class driver’s license and reliable transportation\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat We Offer:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLeadership position within a high-growth solar energy company\r\n\tOpportunity to shape and lead electrical installation standards and practices\r\n\tCompetitive salary and benefits package\r\n\tSupportive team culture and ongoing professional development\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInterested candidates should click the 'APPLY TO THIS POSITION' icon to submit a resume and cover letter\r\n\r\n \r\n
