Refinery Boilermakers - La Porte, TX Stronghold Companies is seeking experienced Boilermakers for project-based work in refinery environments in La Porte, Texas. These Boilermakers will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and able to supervise and lead teams in demanding industrial settings. Perks & Benefits • Competitive Wages • Overtime opportunities may be available • Exposure to large-scale refinery projects • Potential for career advancement within Stronghold Companies What You’ll Need • High school diploma or equivalent work experience • 4-5 years’ prior work experience in related industry • Knowledge of rigged and rigging equipment and crane/rigging hand signals • Working knowledge of retrieval devices and fall protection equipment • Ability to assemble, install, analyze defects, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, vats, and duct work • Experience with hand tools, power tools, hydraulic torque tools, and their maintenance • Ability to read and interpret prints and plans • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 51 pounds occasionally • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights • Must pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements • Ability to travel extensively and stay overnight for extended periods What Will Make You Stand Out • 5+ years’ prior work experience in related industry • TWIC card • NCCER certification • Basic Plus training • Confined Space training • OSHA 10/30 training • First Aid and CPR trained • Class “A” driver’s license and a clean MVR
