Job Description
Multiple electrical technician roles across Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia require leading and performing installations, repairs, and alterations of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Candidates must troubleshoot, solve problems proactively, and adhere to safety standards such as OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures.
Requirements include understanding Gaylor Values, operating platform and boom lifts (certification preferred), working at heights up to 90', bending conduit accurately, and installing electrical components per code. Skills in interpreting blueprints, wiring, grounding, and working with energized parts are essential.
Responsibilities involve organizing tools, interpreting drawings, performing installations, guiding helpers, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Physical demands include lifting up to 51 lbs., working in various elements, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
Preferred candidates have a high school diploma, completion of an accredited apprenticeship or six years of experience, and a journeyman license where required.
