Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team focused on cargo trailer production. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding on steel components, ensuring structural integrity, and supporting efficient production processes. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, follows safety protocols, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Work Environment * Manufacturing plant setting with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes * This is a hot and fast-paced environment where team members are expected to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards * PPE required (Weld hood, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.) * Perform MIG welding on steel components used in cargo trailer frames and assemblies * Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols * Measure, cut, and fit materials to specifications * Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and conformance to standards * Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently * Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals * Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process improvements * Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines * Medical Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Critical Illness Insurance * Accident Insurance * Supplemental Life Insurance (Employee, Spouse and Children) * 401(k) contribution after 30 days + company match on first 3% * Weekly Accrued PTO  * Company Paid Short Term and Long Term Disability  * Company Paid Life Insurance  Job Summary: Weld team members are responsible for welding quality trailer with outstanding service in a safe manner and must be able to manufacture in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area. * Ensure your own safety by always using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed and rated for the task, complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. * Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals. * Operate all power tools and machinery on the weld line(s) effectively and respectfully. * Read and understand work orders and work instructions. * Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets, as directed by assigned production supervisor.  * Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of you and your coworkers, as well as the operational effectiveness of equipment.  * Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed.  (This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.)
