Electrician (Mechanic/Electrician/Formen)

Job Overview Kennedy Electrical Service is a family-owned commercial electrical contracting company in eastern North Carolina. We're looking for a solid journeyman/mechanic-level electricians to join our team. Our work covers commercial new construction, service and maintenance, and small to mid-size commercial projects. We've got a good crew, steady work, and a straightforward way of doing things. If you've got field experience and a good work ethic, we want to talk to you. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems per blueprints and job specifications. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings. • Bend conduit, pull wire, and perform general electrical installations on commercial job sites. • Work on both low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards. • Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment such as multimeters and megohmmeters; perform repairs as needed. • Coordinate with crew members and other trades on site to keep projects moving. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols. • Work overtime as needed. Qualifications • Solid hands-on experience as a commercial or industrial electrician. • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Strong knowledge of NEC code and how to apply it in the field. • Proficient with hand tools and power tools — you know your way around the trade. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Valid driver's license required.
