Electrician- Industrial $160/day Per Diem

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Industrial Electricians for an immediate start for power plant projects in Northern Indiana! • PAY: $30-$40/hour (based upon experience) • PER DIEM: $160/day per days worked • HOURS: Shifts will be 8+ hour workdays, 5+ days per week • SCHEDULE: Workdays will vary between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. • Will be a minimum of 5 days per week and 40 hours, but may be more. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT • START DATE: ASAP • Length of the project: 4+ months Industrial Electrician Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our power generation team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment critical to plant operations. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or power plant environments and a strong commitment to safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in high-voltage and low-voltage systems • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals • Work with PLCs, motor control centers (MCCs), and instrumentation systems • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and plant-specific procedures • Support plant operations to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Qualifications • 3+ years of industrial electrical experience (power plant experience strongly preferred) • Knowledge of high-voltage systems and industrial controls • Experience with PLC troubleshooting • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. • Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses. • Must have standard electrical tools. • Drug and background screen required Additional Requirements for Industrial Electricians: • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must have reliable transportation to the job site WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
