About the Role
The Plumbing Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing plumbing operations, field teams, and project execution across multiple sites. You’ll ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards — while mentoring your team and supporting client relationships.
This role is ideal for a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber with several years of experience managing teams and projects, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Oversee plumbing operations for residential and commercial projects
• Lead and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices
• Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and material needs
• Ensure all work complies with codes, safety policies, and quality standards
• Support estimating, quoting, and project planning
• Inspect ongoing and completed work for accuracy and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
• Build and maintain positive client relationships
• Support hiring, training, and performance evaluations for plumbing staff
Qualifications
• Red Seal Certified Journeyman Plumber (Required)
• 5–10+ years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of commercial and residential systems
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record (Required)
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Proficient with mobile apps, work orders, and scheduling systems
• Must have extensive working knowledge of grease interceptors
• Backflow or Gas Fitter Certification considered assets
• Physically capable of performing site inspections and hands-on work as needed
• Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
• Clean criminal record required
