As a Shipping Forklift Operator you can expect: • Excellent Hourly Wage of $24.46hr • Wage Increase after 3 Months • 12-hour Continental Rotating Shifts Days and Nights • Company Paid Life Insurance, Health, and Dental Benefits • RRSP Company Match • On the Job Training • Uniforms • Clean and Safe Work Environment • Teamwork • Employee Referral Program Responsibilities • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to load and unload goods from trucks and within the warehouse. • Ensure the accuracy of orders by verifying product quantities, descriptions, and shipping details. • Assist in the organization and management of inventory in the warehouse, including stacking and organizing products. • Follow shipping procedures to ensure accuracy of product and inventory control. • Remove all waste to energy and recycling throughout shift. • Collaborate with the shipping team, warehouse staff, and supervisors to coordinate shipping activities and address any discrepancies or issues. • Perform routine inspection checks on forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. • Assist online as needed throughout the shift. Education/Skills/Experience Required • Previous Forklift, shipping/receiving experience an asset. • Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions. • Demonstrate spirit of team work and collaboration with the flexibility to adapt to various tasks • Complete tasks as assigned.
