Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, providing an excellent foundation for a career in the trades. The Plumber will troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across various projects. This role is ideal for individuals interested in developing their skills in plumbing, mechanical systems, and construction. Familiarity with infloor heating and sewage pump controls is a must have skill for this position. Duties • Must have experience with infloor heating as well as residential and commercial experience • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements • Measure and cut pipes accurately using appropriate tools, ensuring proper fit and function • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues or maintenance needs in plumbing systems • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Qualifications • Knowledge of mechanical systems, carpentry, HVAC, or related fields is preferred • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics is advantageous • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately • Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions • Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from experienced professionals • Commitment to safety standards and procedures on job sites This position provides valuable opportunities in plumbing.
