Position Overview
Midstate Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Division Manager to lead and support our plumbing operations in Arizona. This role will serve as the key liaison between Field Operations and internal departments, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while continuing to build and develop a high-performing team.
Basic Function
The Plumbing Division Manager will oversee project execution, team development, and operational performance. This individual will play a critical role in driving profitability, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of all plumbing projects.
Requirements
• Strong background in construction, plumbing, and project management
• 8+ years of plumbing construction experience preferred
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
• Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, and cost control
• Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the transition of awarded projects from estimating to operations
• Oversee submittals, procurement, and material planning for all projects
• Establish and maintain vendor and supplier relationships
• Ensure all project documentation, insurance requirements, and compliance items are completed
• Review contracts and collaborate with leadership on project strategy
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and project logs to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Oversee material takeoffs, purchasing, and cost control efforts
• Coordinate closely with field teams to align schedules and project needs
• Review and approve billing, schedules of values, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely completion of all closeout documentation
• Monitor project performance, labor efficiency, and overall profitability
• Lead recruiting, hiring, and development of plumbing personnel
Working Conditions
This position is based in Arizona and will require time both in the office and on active job sites across the region.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, and construction management software
• State Plumbing License (preferred)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Schedule
Full-time position with a standard 10-hour shift structure.
