Position Overview
The Master Plumber (Responsible Master Plumber) will perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with state and local codes. This role involves both hands-on work and mentoring/apprentice supervision, with opportunities for leadership within the company.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (residential and/or commercial)
• Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Supervise and mentor apprentices and journeyman plumbers
• Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical,) when needed
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining work performed and answering questions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
Stay up to date with industry best practices and code changes
Requirements
• Responsible Master Plumber - License will be tied to and used for the business through DORA.
• Valid Master Plumber License in Colorado, and in Good Standing with the State.
• Minimum [5+] years of plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial)
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Experience supervising or training apprentices and journeymen preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift [50-75 lbs] and work in a variety of environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces)
• Heavier items will be safely lifted with assistance and/or equipment
Commission will also be provided in addition to Salary.
