Our client is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join their esteemed apprenticeship program as Apprentice Electricians, focusing on commercial projects in the Charlotte, North Carolina, US area. Apprentices will receive comprehensive on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced journeyman electricians, combined with structured classroom instruction. The program is designed to provide a thorough understanding of electrical theory, safety practices, and the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. Key responsibilities include: Assisting journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Learning to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Properly using hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment. Pulling electrical wires and cables through conduits and raceways. Installing electrical components such as switches, outlets, light fixtures, and control panels. Understanding and adhering to all safety regulations and codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Participating actively in all assigned training sessions and coursework. Maintaining a clean and organized worksite. Troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a mechanical aptitude, and a genuine interest in learning the electrical trade. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights are essential.
