Electrician

Overview -Looking for journeyman electrician willing to work 1099 (non-payroll) -Pay will be based on ability to use their own truck and tools. Join our team as a skilled Electrician, where your expertise will power critical systems across diverse projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential. Duties • Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify faults and implement solutions swiftly. • Work on construction sites performing renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general handyman tasks related to electrical systems. • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes in industrial settings. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols for high voltage and low voltage electrical systems during all phases of work. • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules on construction or renovation sites. Skills • Extensive experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards. • Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for complex electrical projects. • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, high voltage and low voltage wiring practices, and schematic interpretation. • Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers as well as power tools necessary for installation and repair tasks. • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects; familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and circuit testers. • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation environments. • Hands-on experience with schematics for industrial control systems and building wiring plans. • Valid electrician license or certification required; additional handyman or construction certifications are advantageous. • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.
