Job Description

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for recording maintenance repair activities in a computer-based maintenance management system, working with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots on a daily basis. You will use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems. The role involves repairing and maintaining plant machinery and equipment such as lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines. A fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings, is required to solve problems in a timely manner. You will strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis. A commitment to safety and quality is essential, along with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Proficient in blueprints. • Associates degree in applicable programs (Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering) is preferred. • Eager to learn with a good training/development program. • Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, welding, lathes, mills, schematics, blueprints, PLC troubleshooting, Fanuc, and automated equipment. The environment includes CNC equipment, robotic welders, multi-access robots, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems. Training hubs are available for working on equipment that is off the manufacturing floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
