Fitter/Welder Pay: $22–$25/hour BOE Hours: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Friday as needed) Location: Catoosa, OK (climate-controlled facility) Job Type: Temp to Hire Job Order #: 122517 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in both fitting and welding. This opportunity is within a climate-controlled fabrication facility specializing in high-precision work with carbon and stainless steel components. The Fitter/Welder will be responsible for reading blueprints, performing accurate layouts, and producing quality welds that meet industry and client specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform precise MIG welding on carbon steel and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications Execute layouts, fitting, and alignment of metal assemblies Verify measurements using precision tools to maintain fabrication accuracy Ensure all work meets internal and external quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Collaborate with the welding and production teams to ensure efficiency and consistency Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of welding and fitting experience (required) Skilled in MIG welding on carbon steel and TIG welding on stainless/aluminum Ability to perform accurate layout and measurement conversions Strong understanding of blueprint reading and fabrication principles Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-oriented Test Information Carbon Steel – MIG: Two plates 3/8''× 2''× 7'', simple butt joint (backing strip acceptable) Stainless 304/316 – TIG: Two strips 0.060–0.125''× 2''× 7'', simple butt joint (argon purge or backing required for clean root) Job Order # 122517 Stand-By Personnel | Welding Division
