Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across diverse environments. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure in both industrial and commercial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from construction sites to ongoing maintenance operations, contributing to the success of our organization and the safety of our facilities. Duties • Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installations and repairs on low voltage and high voltage systems • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices like ohmmeters and ammeters to identify faults and implement solutions • Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal operation • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, especially when working on construction sites or with high voltage systems • Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution Requirements • Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment • Knowledge of NEC regulations related to low voltage and high voltage installations • Construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and efficient project completion • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail when diagnosing electrical issues Preferred qualifications include experience working with construction projects involving blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, frame carpentry integration, and familiarity with low voltage wiring. Candidates with industrial or commercial electrician backgrounds will thrive in this role.
