Forklift Operator (Pick and Pack)

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in pick and pack operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise while also assisting in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety regulations are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. • Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper storage and placement of goods. • Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company procedures. • Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing and shipping. • Maintain inventory records and ensure accurate stock counts. • Follow safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards. • Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one. • Previous experience in forklift operation and pick and pack processes. • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures. • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred). Work Environment: • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures. • Frequent standing, lifting, and moving of products. • Fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and efficiency.
