Field Service Technician - HVAC Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician with a specialization in HVAC systems to join their Installation & Maintenance division in **Phoenix, Arizona, US**. This role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of complex HVAC installations across various client sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, hands-on experience with a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance and inspections, and installing new equipment. You will work independently to manage your schedule, travel to client locations, and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams, using diagnostic tools, and ensuring all work adheres to safety protocols and industry best practices. The Field Service Technician will also be responsible for documenting service calls, maintaining accurate inventory of parts and equipment, and communicating effectively with clients to explain findings and proposed solutions. A proven ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, and solve problems creatively is essential. We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent mechanical and electrical skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing high-quality technical support. A high school diploma or GED is required; completion of a relevant trade school program or apprenticeship is highly preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with specific experience in commercial and industrial systems, is essential. EPA Universal certification is required. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are mandatory. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Document service activities, parts used, and time spent accurately. Manage service schedule and travel efficiently to client sites.
