Job Description

Become an Electrician with Oceanex Inc., working on vessels between Halifax, NS and St. John's, NL. Focus on critical electrical functions that uphold the safety and efficiency of our maritime operations. As a Regular Electrician, you will report to the Chief Engineer while carrying out specific electrical tasks as directed. This role is essential in maintaining operational integrity, requiring relevant certifications and strong problem-solving abilities. The right candidate thrives under pressure and demonstrates proactive communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct electrical work under guidance of the Engineer on Watch • Assist in maintenance activities as directed • Identify and troubleshoot electrical anomalies quickly • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards • Participate in a structured 28/28 work schedule Requirements: • Must hold a valid Electrical Trade Certificate • Basic Safety (STCW) training required • Proficiency in Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats • Marine Medical Certificate essential • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities Make a difference with your electrical expertise on the water at Oceanex Inc., ensuring safety and efficiency are always priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
