Residential HVAC Technician

The Residential HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, and split systems. Working as part of a small team, the technician will eventually manage their own van and handle individual service calls within the West Valley, Phoenix area, and surrounding cities. This role involves flexible scheduling based on customer needs and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety compliance. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, and split systems • Troubleshoot and test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency • Conduct duct work and duct cleaning as needed • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout service calls • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations • Document service details accurately and thoroughly • Replace parts and components efficiently during repairs • Travel within the service area and manage time to serve customers effectively Required Qualifications • 2-3+ years of experience working on HVAC systems • Certification in HVAC technology • EPA Section 608 Certification • Clean driving record • Up-to-date certifications • Strong communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications • Experience with HVAC system installation • Electrical diagnostics skills • Knowledge of refrigeration systems • Effective customer communication • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities • Technical documentation proficiency • Adherence to safety protocols • Physical stamina for demanding tasks • NATE Certification Compensation Technicians are paid hourly on a weekly basis with the opportunity to earn additional commission for high-level customer reviews and selling specific services.
