Forklift Operator

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Forklift Operators for an immediate start in Austin, TX! WEEKLY PAY --- OVERTIME • PAY: $25/hour (day shift) --- $27/hour (night shift) • HOURS: Shifts will be 10-hour workdays, 6 days per week (60 hours/week) • SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Saturday • START DATE: ASAP • DURATION: 6+ months Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and construction operations in the Austin, Texas area. This position is ideal for someone with experience operating forklifts in fast-paced environments and handling materials on both job sites and in yard/warehouse settings. Key Responsibilities: • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or rough terrain) to move materials safely and efficiently • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and deliveries • Transport materials throughout warehouse and/or construction job sites • Stage materials for crews and ensure timely delivery to work areas • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures • Assist with general labor tasks as needed Qualifications: • 3+ year of forklift operating experience required • OSHA 10 Required • Experience in warehouse, construction, or material yard environments preferred • Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) • Ability to operate rough terrain forklifts is a plus • Strong attention to safety and detail • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 50+ lbs • Frequent standing, bending, and moving materials • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Additional Requirements: • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must have reliable transportation to the job site • Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
