Building Systems HVAC Field Technician - Start-Up & Retrofits

What you will do • Start-up and commission commercial HVAC equipment across diverse OEMs. • Diagnose and repair air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management systems. • Perform preventive maintenance and recommend retrofit solutions to improve performance. • Communicate findings, document work, and collaborate with teammates and clients. What you bring • Dependable, self-directed work style with strong communication and organization. • Proven troubleshooting ability on commercial systems, including rooftop packaged units and water-source heat pumps. • Readiness to support both new construction start-ups and ongoing service in existing buildings. We are hiring at multiple levels—experienced techs and motivated entry-level candidates. Credentials and requirements • 5+ years commercial HVAC field experience (senior track). • Startup/commissioning experience; mentoring background is a plus. • EPA Universal certification. • Own set of hand tools and a clean driving record. • OSHA 10-hour; OSHA 30 preferred. • Master HVAC-R preferred. • Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster) preferred. • Punctual, professional, and safety-focused. Pay and benefits Estimated Salary: $35/hourly - $55/hourly based on experience and skills plus benefits.
