Service Plumber

Job Title: Service Plumber Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Service Plumber who will focus primarily on service plumbing for commercial and multi-residential existing buildings. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing leaks, faucets, and pipes, as well as reinstalling new equipment for kitchenettes, kitchens, showers, washrooms, sinks, and toilets. The candidate may also be required to remove and install new piping, including cast iron, copper, and stainless materials, as well as handle domestic water and vent stacks. Drain cleaning is also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read blueprints and ensure proper installation of new equipment. Independence in work is crucial for this role. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair leaks, faucets, pipes, and other plumbing fixtures. • Reinstall and install new equipment for kitchenettes, showers, and other facilities. • Remove and install new piping systems, including cast iron, copper, and stainless steel. • Conduct drain cleaning and ensure proper maintenance of plumbing systems. • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation of equipment. • Work independently and efficiently in both residential and commercial settings. Essential Skills • 4+ years experience in residential or commercial service plumbing. • Ticketed Red Seal Journeyman Plumber certification. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Clean driving abstract for company vehicle eligibility. • Willingness to work on 24/7 on-call rotation every 2-3 months. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Gasfitter B ticket is an advantage. • More extensive experience in plumbing is preferred. • Good communication and leadership skills. • Eagerness to learn and take pride in work. • Reliability and strong work ethic.
