Role Description We are hiring a full‑time Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (313A) or Apprentice to join our expanding service team in Ottawa/Gatineau. This is an on‑site union position (UA787) working on commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role includes installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of RTUs, boilers, air handlers, piping systems, and refrigeration equipment. You will complete service reports, follow safety regulations, and provide professional service to a diverse client base. Qualifications • 313A Journeyman or Registered Apprentice • G2 license required (G1 an asset) • Experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals • Knowledge of refrigerant handling and safety regulations • Valid driver’s license with a clean record • Reliability security clearance or ability to obtain Wage Package • Journeyman: up to $79.01/hr • 5th year apprentice: $63.63/hr • 4th year apprentice: $55.92/hr
