Industrial Pipe Welder

Talascend is currently seeking an Industrial Pipe Welder for a contract opportunity with our client in San Antonio, Texas. Overview • Seeking experienced P22 pipe welders for work at a coal-fired power plant. this role involves high-pressure chrome-moly piping and requires x-ray quality welds in a safety-critical industrial environment. Responsibilities • Weld P22 chrome-moly piping using tig and stick processes • Produce x-ray quality welds to asme standards • Follow all welding procedures including preheat, interpass, and pwht • Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings • Maintain strict safety and quality compliance Qualifications • Experience welding p22 or similar alloy piping • Ability to pass x-ray weld test • power plant or heavy industrial experience preferred • must pass background, drug screen We thank all applicants for their interest.
