HVAC Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and related maintenance skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. Job Location: St. Catharines, Ontario (relocation assistance available) Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units. • Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency. • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues. • Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage or water supply connections. • Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or component replacements. • Work with boilers and other mechanical equipment as part of comprehensive maintenance services. • Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with HVAC systems. • Follow safety protocols during all maintenance and repair activities to ensure a safe work environment. • Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system conditions. Qualifications • Valid G2 Gas License • Valid 313D Refrigeration License • Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair. • Mechanical knowledge with experience in boiler systems and appliance repair. • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. • Strong understanding of construction principles related to HVAC system installation. • Mechanic experience preferred; familiarity with various tools and diagnostic equipment essential. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are highly desirable. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
