Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join their dynamic team in Denver, Colorado . This role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex HVAC systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks to ensure system longevity and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures. Install, service, and repair electrical control systems, thermostats, and sensors. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. Communicate effectively with clients to explain diagnoses, proposed solutions, and completed work. Respond to emergency service calls as needed. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician. Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC systems. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles. EPA Universal Certification is required. NATE certification is a plus. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred.
