Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Zanesville, Ohio, as a skilled Welder/Fabricator. This full-time position on the 1st shift involves performing MIG welding, structural fabrication, and assembly work. You will play a crucial role in interpreting blueprints and using various fabrication tools to ensure quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Perform welding operations on components, including setting up equipment and utilizing MIG and other techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings to accurately layout, fit, and position parts.
• Cut, grind, and prepare metal components using saws, shears, and grinding equipment.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adhere to all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean, organized work area.
Essential Skills
• Experience in welding within a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including grinders and saws.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with MIG and flux core welding techniques.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing and fabrication shop setting with a small team of 15 employees. The role involves working on the 1st shift with 10-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday. You will work both independently and as part of a team on various projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.50/hr.
