Job Description

Join a Team That Does It Right Armstrong Plumbing is seeking a skilled Journeyman Service Plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship, strong customer service, and getting the job done right the first time. This is a field-based role requiring independent judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to represent the company professionally with customers. We are looking for someone who can step into a job, diagnose the issue, and execute solutions without constant oversight. What You’ll Do • Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments • Perform service work including water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, and system troubleshooting • Provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding findings and solutions • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications as needed • Complete accurate documentation of work performed, materials, and time • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite • Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls • Represent Armstrong Plumbing with professionalism and integrity What You Bring • Journeyman-level plumbing experience (minimum 2+ years service experience preferred) • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • High level of professionalism and customer service • Solid understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and materials • Ability to clear sewer lines and perform camera inspections preferred Licensing & Requirements • Current Journeyman Plumber License or ability to obtain through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) / Colorado State Plumbing Board within 90 days • If not currently licensed, all work must be performed under supervision of a licensed plumber until obtained • Valid Colorado driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to meet applicable pre-employment requirements Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs • Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding tasks What We Provide • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Overtime eligibility in accordance with Colorado law • Paid sick leave under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act • Company-provided uniforms and safety equipment • Stable, professional work environment with consistent demand Tools & Expectations Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools.
