Job Description

Electrician (Residential Installation & Support) A growing residential services company is seeking a motivated Electrician / Installation Technician to support electrical work related to HVAC equipment installations in residential homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and is open to expanding their skill set within the home services industry. About the Role Reporting to their direct manager, this position is responsible for completing all electrical components of residential HVAC installations. This includes breaker installation, wiring, conduit work, and panel modifications. Work is performed in occupied residential homes, requiring both strong technical ability and a customer-focused approach. Where scheduling allows, this role also offers the opportunity to support HVAC installations and gain hands-on experience toward additional trade certifications. What You’ll Do Electrical Installation • Install electrical conduit • Complete electrical panel upgrades and pony panel installations • Perform 220V wiring for air conditioning units, including terminations • Install load management devices Electrical Inspections & Compliance • Perform electrical load calculations • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards Customer Experience • Deliver professional, respectful service in customers’ homes • Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members • Support a positive overall customer experience Team & Project Support • Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure efficient installations • When electrical work is complete, assist with HVAC installations as needed to support team productivity and job completion • Opportunity to gain exposure toward Gasfitter B apprenticeship hours Safety • Complete required safety documentation and inspections • Maintain proper use of PPE at all times • Conduct routine vehicle and equipment checks What We Offer • Competitive compensation package • Health and dental benefits • RRSP matching and/or savings programs • Company vehicle and dispatch-from-home model • Company-provided tools/technology (as applicable) • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Support for cross-trade learning and apprenticeship hours • Stable, year-round work with growth potential Qualifications Required: • Minimum 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice or greater • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (3 years minimum experience) • Personal hand tools, drill, and safety footwear Assets: • Experience in residential HVAC or service environments • Interest in expanding into HVAC or gas fitting work What We’re Looking For • Strong work ethic and accountability • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship • Positive, team-oriented mindset • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges • Professional and customer-focused attitude Additional Information This role involves travel between residential job sites throughout the day.
